Light bulb moment !!!
We took a few more bits and pieces up to Baby yesterday, just some disposable plates and cups for when we hopefully have visits from the family, and some new bowls for Barney so that's one less thing to think about when packing. A good excuse to check her over and have some chill time .. just a little too chill as it turns out lol. Whilst we were sat talking about the fact that we haven't as yet tried out any of the on board systems and that it was too cold to stay much longer ..we both realised that we hadn't thought about taking a gas bottle up and turning the heating on!!!! How daft is that ..so on Steve's next day off that's what we plan to do ..can't wait!! :-))

Only the best for Baby
Our previous caravans have been kitted out with all sorts of odds and ends like odd tea cloths, towels, crockery, pans etc and odd throws to keep the furniture clean .. but Baby is different, it didn't seem fitting somehow to put scruffy things in a new caravan. So whilst waiting for the days to get a bit longer and Steve to take some much needed time off, I have been shopping :-)
Now I haven't spent a fortune .. but we now have a completely colour coordinated caravan .. If you look at the upholstery you will see a little red in the pattern, I have taken this as the colour to accessorize. With the help of shops such as wilkinson, woolworth and ebay I have replaced all the crockery..we didn't like the melamine anyway, towels, cannisters and throws. Last year my lovely friend Brenda bought me a new set of tea cloths and matching apron with red chickens on, so they will go nicely.

Introducing Baby.
On 30th October 2012 we went to collect our New Bailey Orion 400/2. She is the baby of the Orion range of caravans and with 2 berths is the ideal caravan for the three of us ..That's Hubby Steve, me ..Jan and Barney our Miniature Schnauzer.
Baby's adventure started with a trip to our house .. here she is posing for her first photos.
Isn't she cute? ;-))
Her next stop was to her storage site where to date she has remained.
